Tell Others. Spread the word about services and programs provided by your local animal shelter or rescue.  Remember, National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week is celebrated the first full week of November.

Save an animal.
Be sure to report any stray or injured animals as well as any abuse or neglect.  You could very well save an animals life!

Instruct Children. Proper care of animals is important.  Instruct kids on how to properly care for, train, treat, and play with animals.

Be a responsible pet owner. Spay or neuter your pet to prevent an increase in overpopulation.  Make sure identification and licenses are kept current at all times and that your pet is always properly cared for and supervised.  Be sure to provide food, water, veterinary care, and shelter when needed.  Finally, you’re your pet logs of attention!
